The last several days have been busy. I took Thursday and Friday off to work on the house.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to spend as much time as I would have liked on painting, but it was still a pretty productive couple of days.

Thursday morning I went shopping at Menard's to get things ready to start. I picked up an extension cord and a couple power strips to set up the wifi in the basement.

My internet wasn't activating so it was going to require calling Spectrum. At that time Andrew Hoeft stopped by for a tour of the house. Afterward, I was able to call Spectrum, get the internet activated and set up my mesh network.

In the afternoon I started cleaning the mildew with a cleanser then I headed home because I knew I'd have to pick up Piper at 5 and didn't want to start painting for only an hour or so.

Friday I got my booster in the morning, so I didn't get to painting until noonish. I edged in all around Piper's closet. I would have worked a little longer but my mom called and said she had fallen down the stairs and hit her head.

I had to pick up Piper early and drop her off at Coco's house so I could get to Edgerton and check on my mom.

Saturday, I had Piper from 8-2. She got her second shot then we went out to Swad. Afterward, we went to the library for a bit then headed home for hot cocoa.

I was feeling ill from the booster shot. My back and skin hurt. I ended up taking a nap for a few hours before eating dinner.

After dinner, I loaded up my car with stuff from the storage unit and took it to the house. Then I ran to Andrea's apartment to drop of Piper's gloves and water bottle. Finally, I went to Home Depot and Pick n' Save for last-minute things for the painting party.

Sunday was good. Katie, Monica, and Gabby came by to help paint. We got Piper's room primed and started work on the office.

My goal now is to get the office ready for me to move in. The kitchen will need to be done enough to get the fridge in. Technically I can start working from the house before the fridge is in, but that will be easier the sooner it's ready.

Once I'm working from the house I'll have more opportunities to work for smaller bursts of time. Spend an hour edging a room, rolling the walls or ceiling, pulling staples, etc. It will give me a lot of extra time once I'm in the house every day.
